Show answer
Expected results:
- C2 = 1850
- C3 = 2260
- C4 = 1000
How it works
Explanation: A negative second argument rounds to the left of the decimal point. -1 means tens, -2 means hundreds, -3 means thousands.
Syntax: =ROUND(B2,-1)
1847 is closer to 1850 than 1840. 2263 becomes 2260. 995 is exactly halfway between 990 and 1000, so it goes up to 1000.
